Emmanuelle Frelin
Paediatric Nurse
Welcome !
My name is Emmanuelle. I’m a pediatric nurse, married, and a mother of four children.
I've always had a deep sensitivity for the very beginning of life — that precious time when everything begins.
When bonds are formed, when families search for their bearings, and when every look, every gesture, every word matters.
I began my career working with premature babies in a pediatric intensive care unit. Witnessing the vulnerability of these tiny beings who arrived too early was both a tremendous privilege and a profound lesson that shaped the rest of my path.
For several years, I worked in hospitals, early childhood settings, and schools.
These invaluable experiences gave me a strong foundation in both medical and psycho-educational care… but above all, they revealed a clear truth: families need more than just technical support.
They need space, time, and humanity.
They need guidance, but also someone who listens.
They need to be supported — not directed.
A family sailing journey across the Atlantic.
Eight months of slowing down, living to the rhythm of nature, watching our children grow before our eyes, rediscovering the power of connection and the beauty of the present moment.
This journey deepened a core conviction: what our children experience, what they feel, what we share with them, all of it matters. It shapes who they become.
And more than ever, I knew I wanted to be truly present, for them,
but also for other families.
To create space.
To offer time.
To support.

In 2018, we moved abroad as a family. And it was in this very unique context that I gave birth to our fourth child, right in the heart of the pandemic.
Being pregnant, giving birth, and caring for a newborn far from familiar surroundings, in a language that wasn’t my own, without close family nearby, in a climate of uncertainty…
It touched something deep within me.
Shortly after, I joined the Éveil et Conseil collective — a passionate team of childhood and healthcare professionals committed to informing, supporting, and guiding families.
Through this experience, I discovered the true value of networks, of authentic exchanges between parents and professionals, and of the kind of open, thoughtful communication that is essential to building truly compassionate support.
Alongside my involvement in the collective, I gradually felt the need to refocus on what gives my role as a pediatric nurse its full meaning: offering dedicated, individualized support, in direct connection with families.
Because while missions of information, support, and prevention can be shared collectively, personalized care, rooted in the day-to-day reality of families, requires close attention, deep listening, and a truly tailored approach.
When I gave birth to my youngest child abroad, I realized just how intense and disorienting it can be to navigate something as intimate as motherhood in a foreign language.
Being able to truly communicate, to express feelings, to voice worries, to speak what trembles inside, is so often hindered by the language barrier.
That’s why I felt called to create support that would also be accessible to expatriate parents, by offering them a space for listening and guidance, wherever they may be.
And so, out of this personal, collective, and international reflection… Parent’ease was born.
A cocoon.
A space for connection, to breathe, to reconnect with yourself, your baby, your partner, your family.
A precious moment where no one tells you how to do things, but where you are gently supported in discovering your own way, your own rhythm, your own story.
Because parenting doesn’t have to be perfect… but it deserves to be supported with care and respect.
Because there isn’t just one way to be a parent, no single truth, no set path.
And on this winding, often messy journey, every step, every doubt, every small victory deserves to be seen and honored.
